Hello Friends!

My name is Anne Clay. I am a romantic and a time traveler at heart. I love history and old things. I love the fact that people owned them, loved and used them and then passed them down and now we too are able to see how they lived and enjoy the craftsmanship of their belongings. I live in a home with my husband, grown daughter, 3 dogs, 5 chickens and a rooster. (Ok, the chickens have their own coop but you get the message).

 

I own a gorgeous and quaint New England Homestead built in 1780. It is surrounded by beautiful stone walls. On the property is a beautiful post and beam barn from the 18th century and even a she shed. Beautiful gardens adorn my property from June - September. It is truly my happy place.

7 years ago when I purchased this property, I started a YouTube Channel to document our work. Soon it turned into a home decor channel as I continuously changed things around and added to it. Through the years, it has become my artist palette.

Art has always been important to me. As a child I spent endless hours sketching and painting. My rooms were always an explosion of color and texture. I have been a professional photographer designing beautiful and artistic family portraits for many years and teaching classes on creativity to other professional photographers. 10 years ago I returned to school to receive my Master's in Fine Arts with an emphasis on visual arts and photography.

As the years have progressed in my home, my desire has been to make it more period authentic while still bringing life and fun into the interior. With that in mind, I started designing my own line of home decor that can transition into Early American, Colonial, Primitive, Traditional, Farmhouse and Cottagecore styles.
